Who I Help

One approach, adapted to your body

Functional Patterns doesn't chase a diagnosis. It retrains the walking, standing, breathing, and rotational patterns underneath it, which is why the same whole-body method serves people with very different starting points, from posture and scoliosis to kids and seniors.

Focused paths

Start with the challenge that sounds most like you. Each page explains what's going on, how Functional Patterns approaches it, and what training together looks like.

Personal Training

General 1-on-1 coaching, whether you're working around pain or discomfort that keeps returning, or you just want to move more athletically and get more out of an ordinary day.

Posture

Rounded shoulders, forward head, a collapsed stance. Change the patterns that hold posture in place, not only where you put your shoulders.

Improve your posture

Scoliosis

Corrective, myofascial and gait-based work to improve alignment, symmetry, and day-to-day comfort while living with scoliosis.

Anterior Pelvic Tilt

Ease the arched lower back and tilted-forward pelvis by restoring how your hips load through standing and walking.

Address pelvic tilt

Chronic Pain

Chronic back, hip, knee, or neck pain and stubborn recurring injuries, worked from the movement patterns underneath them.

Address chronic pain

Kids Training

Patient, playful sessions that build coordination, posture, and confident movement early, including kids with developmental differences.

Training for kids

Special Needs Kids

Patient, adapted sessions for children with autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental differences, meeting each child where they are.

Coaching for your child

Seniors Training

Protect balance, strength, and independence by training the everyday movements that matter most as we age.

The list above is where I focus most, but the method is broad by design. I've worked with individuals from ages 9 to 82, and the whole-body approach adapts to a wide range of goals and needs.

  • Athletes wanting more efficient, injury-resistant movement
  • Office workers undoing years of sitting and screen time
  • Chronic pain that hasn't resolved with other approaches
  • Post-rehab clients ready to rebuild sustainable movement
  • Autism & developmental differences, coached patiently
  • Cerebral palsy & Kabuki syndrome, with adapted sessions

Not sure whether this is right for you or a family member? That's exactly what a first conversation is for. Reach out and tell me what's going on, and I'll be honest about whether I can help.
